Dr. Scott Bedichek is a board-certified periodontist proudly serving patients throughout the North Fort Worth and Keller communities. More importantly, he considers himself a people person who genuinely enjoys helping others. He believes a doctor’s first responsibility is to educate patients by explaining “the what, the why, and the how” of their treatment before providing exceptional periodontal care. His compassionate approach, combined with his optimism and dedication, helps patients feel informed, comfortable, and confident throughout every stage of treatment.
Education & Professional Experience
Originally born in Liberal, Kansas, Dr. Bedichek was raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma as the fourth of five children. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Abilene Christian University, where he also met his wife, Heather. He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry before completing advanced specialty training in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry through the University of Oklahoma Graduate Periodontics Program.
Dr. Bedichek is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, recognizing the highest level of achievement in his specialty. In addition to private practice, he serves as an Associate Professor at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, where he teaches residents in periodontics, implant dentistry, and IV sedation, helping train the next generation of specialists.

Beyond the Practice
Outside the office, Dr. Bedichek enjoys spending time with his wife, Heather, and their three children, Avery, Kendall, and Judson. His dedication to serving others extends well beyond his practice.
Dr. Bedichek is passionate about using dentistry to make a difference through medical mission work. He has participated in numerous dental mission trips throughout Mexico, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Panama, Honduras, Ecuador, and Bolivia, providing care to underserved communities. He is also actively involved in local outreach efforts through his church, serving individuals and families in need within his own community.
